Our kidney rug made of 100% pure wool offers a better alternative to the classic kidney rug made of synthetic fibres. The natural material wool not only has a high-quality, beautiful look:
It is cuddly and lies great on the horse, does not slip - which is particularly important when riding. The wool rug is breathable, which means that when the horse sweats, the wool absorbs moisture and releases it again on the surface. The horse's body stays nice and dry. Even when it's drizzling - the woolen kidney rug is water-repellent and effectively protects against drafts and cold. The temperature-regulating property is also important for a riding rug, because the horse should neither overheat nor cool down too quickly when it sweats.

Choose initials, branding or your horse's name as a personal touch! Our color palette of beautifully sparkling crystals is designed to inspire you and complete your bespoke look.
You can individualize the rug on one side (standard left side) or on both sides (left and right).
The crystals are set by hand and checked several times, so that you can wash your favorite item in the washing machine at 40°C as usual. You can also enjoy a 2-year guarantee with AIKO®!
Wool rarely needs to be washed. The less often wool is washed, the longer it retains its natural properties. It is often sufficient to let the blankets air out overnight, to simply brush out coarse dirt or to clean it in places with a little wool detergent and then with clear water.
However, our blankets can also be washed with a gentle wool washing program and wool detergent (30°C and max. 400 rpm spin).
It is best to straighten it out a bit after washing and hang it on the drying rack to dry (do not hang it).
