"Perfect for transporting sweat"

Our horses sweat especially in the transitional periods: some of them still have some winter fur and their organisms are still prepared for winter. Despite the spring sun, it is often still a bit cool and a wet back or neck area can easily catch a cold.

Wool has the great ability to transport sweat very effectively. As a natural material, it always has a temperature-balancing effect and offers highly effective protection against drafts. Tension can be effectively prevented with wool products - in the neck area as well as along the back.

Our multifunctional sheet, for example, is ideal for sweating off - from winter to summer - all year round.

"Not too thick and not too thin"

Our wool material has the property that it is neither too thick nor too heavy, but not too thin either. The strength is comparable to a medium-weight fleece sweat blanket. The pure wool means it has additional additional functions and can be used all year round because it always has a temperature-balancing effect.

“Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet.” 

This is because wool fibers have an optimal structure in which moisture can be stored. The moisture is absorbed and released into the environment where it evaporates. This helps the horse to cool down slowly after training or strenuous work without becoming chilled.

“Wool regulates the temperature even when damp”

Fine air chambers between the wool fibers of our rugs allow air to circulate and moisture to escape. Therefore, your horse can cool down slowly and enjoy a regulated, warming body feeling.

“Less bacteria, less smell.”

The wool fiber itself has a scaly surface that is much more difficult for bacteria to grow on than on smooth synthetic fibers. The movement of the wool fibers also creates the self-cleaning process of the wool blanket: the fibers rub against each other and bacteria or fungal spores are “rubbed off”.

"Pre-Washed"

In our production, the wool material is pre-washed and steamed before it is cut and sewn. This means that the wool fabric has completed its “shrinking process”. Now the material holds its shape and is cut and sewn and you can also wash it.

“Airing instead of washing”

Because wool is dirt-repellent (self-cleaning), it is ideal if you air out the wool rug in the fresh air. This conserves resources and maintains the natural wool properties for a particularly long time. Wool rarely needs to be washed. You can machine wash our wool products on the wool washing program (300 spin cycles) with wool detergent. It is best to dry lying flat.

"Pleasant microclimate"

100% wool is the highest possible comfort that the natural material has to offer. It always feels dry and warm and this of course prevents tension and colds. A pleasant, dry "microclimate" is created under the blanket - i.e. between the material and the horse's body - your horse will enjoy it!

"Until well into spring"

These wide range of great properties of wool make it possible to use your wool products well into spring. The temperature-regulating and highly breathable properties prevent heat build-up. Be it on cool spring evenings or in the morning when it is still cool: back warmer, sweat rug & co are always comfortable for your horse. Great for transportation too!
