Our new wool rug in different colors is a true all-rounder.
The natural material is breathable, antibacterial, moisture-repellent, temperature-regulating and is increasingly being used in (equestrian) sports.
Transform the blanket by simply folding it and use it as:
A back warmer: the wool rug creates a pleasant “microclimate” so that the horse stays dry and warm. Great sweat function and breathability. (after work, while walking, while feeding)
A neck part: wool protects against drafts and warms naturally. When your horse is shorn, the neck part can be quite comfortable. Easy to attach with the included clips. Tip: once the rug is folded it is a compact neck piece, when not folded it warms and protects chest, shoulders and back at the same time.
A lungeing pad: Simply fold it twice lengthways to create the right size for your lungeing belt. After lunging, simply “unfold” the rug again and use it to warm the horse's back when cooling down. Perfect, right?
An under-rug: The blanket can also be sewn into a regular rug as a comfortable back warmer. Have you tried it yet?
The comfortable wool rug can of course also provide you with warmth: when riding, in the lounge or while teaching and watching at the arena or in the hall.

Wool hardly slips and has good adhesion to fur and textiles and keeps you pleasantly warm. On the other hand, dirt can be easily shaken or brushed out (sawdust, straw, hay, dust...). It is antibacterial, moisture-repellent and a universal natural material that is particularly popular in sports due to its great properties.
Wool rarely needs to be washed. The less often wool is washed, the longer it retains its natural properties. It is often sufficient to let the blankets air out overnight, to simply brush out coarse dirt or to clean it in places with a little wool detergent and then with clear water.
However, our blankets can also be washed with a gentle wool washing program and wool detergent (30°C and max. 400 rpm spin).
It is best to straighten it out a bit after washing and hang it on the drying rack to dry (do not hang it).
